Jessica Schuett

Jessica Schuett is responsible for membership activities of NCSE’s University Affiliate Program and the development activities of the organization. The University Affiliate Program provides services to advance environmental programs at 150 member universities and colleges across the U.S., ranging from large universities to small liberal arts colleges. In addition, she works with Lyle Birkey on website management. After falling in love with DC when she held an internship at the Association of American Universities, she knew she wanted to return after finishing her masters.

She graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2008 with a degree in sociology. Wanting to continue her research interests in social networks and environmental sociology, she pursued a Master's degree in sociology at the University of North Texas. Upon completing her thesis in April 2011, she began her position at NCSE in May 2011.
