Jacklyn Krisch
Jacklyn Krisch is the Director of the Washington DC Chapter of EnvironMentors and previously served as the DC EnvironMentors Program Manager. For almost three years, she has been responsible for managing all logistics for the student-mentor pairs and DC EnvironMentors events, as well as development and administrative needs of the program. Within DC EnvironMentors she was conducted teacher training workshops relating to educational theoretical models, updated and created new EnvironMentors Materials, and has expanded the program to include over 350 students. Mrs. Krisch is the lead developer of the Classroom Integration Project/ EnvironMentality (CIP) and oversees all CIP staff and programming. Mrs. Krisch holds a B.A. in International Environmental Policy from American University where she conducted research on environmental education, specifically looking at factors that influence students’ and children’s interest in the environment.
